Here’s how it works:

A sapphic speed dating night powered by our unique matching software designed to increase compatibility and improve your odds of matching. Enjoy curated dates, and a discreet guestbook revealing your compatibility scores with everyone in the room. Our guestbook is live and interactive - allowing you to match with any guests that catch your eye instead of being limited to your speed dates.

Smart Speed Dating has reimagined dating, with compatibility matching designed by sapphics, for sapphics.

On the night, you’ll have a series of quick, fun dates with the most compatible people in the room.

6pm Check-in opens – Grab your name tag and check in. Arrive early if you need help setting up your profile.

6.30pm Check-in closes - dating begins. Up to 8 mini-dates, with icebreaker prompts at each table. A break halfway through.

8pm Open Mingling – Stick around to chat with everyone, revisit your favourites, and follow your heart.

During the mingle, your app will show your compatibility rating with others in the room.

After the event, you’ll get a list of your matches, your mutual “yes” picks, and anyone who sparked something on the night.

It’s dating, but distilled. Less noise, more substance. Real-time spark meets thoughtful curation. For lesbians, queer women, trans people and non-binary cuties who want something a bit more meaningful than a swipe.

FAQs

🌟 What’s the age range? This event is for people aged under 40 years, and our Wednesday event is for people aged over 40 years, but it's not strict. If you are aged between 37-43 you are welcome to attend either event (or both!).

🔢 How many people will I date? Around 5 to 8, depending on your preferences and who’s there on the night. But you'll have a chance to meet more people when you mingle later.

❓ Will other people see my information? At the event, people will only see your name, your profile picture, and if you're a good match. They will not your quiz answers. If you both say “yes,” after a mini-date, you’ll be given their email address, and they'll get yours. If one person says "no" or doesn't respond, nothing is shared.

🚶 Do I need to come with someone? Nope. Most people come solo. It’s relaxed and welcoming, with built-in conversation starters to make things easy.

👫 Can I come if I have a partner? Sure, if everyone’s on the same page. We're not here to police your setup.
