Drawing Course for Beginners

Learn the fundamentals of drawing in this 12-week evening course designed for beginners, offered in the heart of historic Amsterdam Centre. Classes run on Tuesday evenings from 19:30 to 21:30, starting 10 March and ending 16 June, with our teacher, who has long experience in guiding people in drawing courses, Secil Guven.

Part 3: Personal Focus

Establish your artistic voice. Choose your subject of interest and design your course module, such as:

19.05.2026-Portrait Drawing

02.06.2026-Human anatomy

09.06.2026-Landscape

16.06.2026-Urban drawing

etc.

Other subjects to choose from: anime, fashion design, comics, cartoon.

Portfolio: The last session includes guidance and feedback in helping you to create your drawing portfolio.

Cost: €340 inc. btw exc. Eventbrite fees. Classes include all materials as well as free e-books. You will need to spare min of 2 hours at home to practice to complete assignments.

Art Studio Amsterdam – Centre. It's located in the historic centre of Amsterdam in a beautiful Amsterdamse School style building with coloured stained glass and a high ceiling.
