This talk and hands-on workshop is connected to Zac’s exhibition, Distance, featuring street photos from Colombia, Chile, and Aotearoa. Whether or not you’ve seen the exhibition, you’re invited to hear the stories behind the images, discover the inspiration for each photo, and learn how ordinary streets, people, and moments can tell meaningful stories.

Zac will also share simple tips for capturing your own street photos, whether on a walk around town or during your next trip, using a camera or even just your phone.

Free and open to all, this session is a relaxed, community-friendly way to explore culture, storytelling, and creativity through photography and maybe even see your everyday world in a new light.
