Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance is pop theatre at its most unapologetic.

A world of high-contrast glamour and deliberate control. Clean lines. Sharp silhouettes. Choreography built on precision and repetition — sculpted, not improvised.

This isn’t a loose routine. It’s architecture.

Structured tension. Commanding shapes. The kind of performance that holds a room without raising its voice.

This series dives straight into the complete choreography — no fragments, no chorus-only edits. We build it, rehearse it, and run it like we’re stepping into a performance world designed with intention.

Built to be performed, this course places you inside the choreography — fierce, femme, powerful — deliberate, commanding, unmistakable.

This is a three-session rehearsal series inspired by the Bad Romance.

Each session builds progressively:

• Session 1, 24th March — learn and run the first half
• Session 2, 31st March — complete the full choreography
• Session 3, 7th April — rehearse and run the routine multiple times

Each session carries forward. Nothing resets. Nothing fragments.

We repeat with intention. We refine. We sharpen.

The format is contained by design — focused, immersive, and structured to move from first counts to a full run-through.

By the final session, the choreography has been built and run in its entirety.

Capacity is limited to keep the room concentrated and the work intentional.

Led By

Tessa is an Amsterdam-based dancer and choreographer working across commercial, hip-hop and heels.

She teaches at Amsterdam Dance Centre and Nomadic Beats Dance Camp, and has trained and performed with The Puzzlebox Dance Studio in Chicago, USA.

Her movement style is feminine and powerful, built on strong shapes and clearly defined accents. She favours choreography that reads confidently and cleanly in performance.

In rehearsal, she maintains direction and momentum while keeping the focus on the work itself — building, refining and running choreography with intention.

What to Expect

We build the choreography progressively and repeat sections until they settle into the body. There’s a clear arc from first run to full rehearsal.

This isn’t a technique class or a fitness session. It’s a contained rehearsal format designed to experience a choreography as a finished performance.

You’ll leave knowing the full routine.

What to Wear

Come dressed to move for the first two sessions — dance shoes or clean, white-soled sneakers work best.

For the final session, you’re invited to lean into the Bad Romance world: dark glamour, sharp silhouettes, a little drama if it feels right.
