The Craic Den Comedy Club brings the best Irish and international comedians to the stage every week in Dublin city. As seen on their acclaimed TV show on Virgin Media and millions of views on social media, the Craic Den guarantees a night full of laughter and unforgettable comedy.

David McSavage

David McSavage is a self proclaimed national treasure. It has been said he is to comedy what the Abbey is to theatre. Maybe because he believes he’s more important than he is, or that the majority of the country doesn’t care about him.

But unlike the Abbey Theatre, Davids best days aren’t behind him, his intention is for you the audience member to feel “wow that was one of the funniest things Ive ever seen, it was so original, courageous, and yet very flawed. I would really like to be his friend”

A regular guest on TV and radio shows in Ireland for many years, David has also appeared at all the major comedy festivals including the Edinburgh Festival and internationally in Australia, Germany, Japan and Scandinavia. As an actor, this year he features in the film Calvary by John Michael McDonagh starring Brendan Gleeson. His other recent film roles in Traders, Gold and Our Robot Overlords.

The Savage Eye (RTÉ), has been critically acclaimed was nominated for an IFTA award for Best Entertainment Series and Best Director.

Martina Ipša

Martina Ipsa was one of the people that helped create the stand up comedy scene in Slovenia and has been active since 2005, is still present and stronger than ever.

After more than 2000 performances in three languages, she is regarded as the best female comedian in her country and one of the best in the region. She has also created two TV shows, written three plays, co-written two movie screenplays, was working as a morning show radio host and hosted a cooking talk show.

Gareth Waugh

Edinburgh comedian Gareth Waugh has been described as “One of the fastest rising stars of the Scottish comedy circuit” by the BBC. Starting comedy in 2010 he has twice been a finalist in Scottish Comedian of the Year and appeared on several Radio 4 programmes including Jo Caulfield’s Speakeasy, Radio 4 Stands Up, The John Moloney Show and more.

His live work includes most of the major UK clubs and he has also toured with the likes of Kathryn Ryan, Daniel Sloss, Iain Stirling, Jamali Maddix and Tom Stade.

Micahel Roche

Micheal ( the barman ) Roche from Kerry. Micheal owns the stage from once he steps on it. His impressions are top-class and his ability to connect with the audience is like no other.

His down to earth, relatable stories are hilarious. Micheal has worked with Tommy Tiernan, Bernard Casey, Terry Alderton to name just a few
