The Vortex, Owen Alimony, and The Butterfly Bar ATX invite you to a one-of-a-kind, fully inclusive 18+ Drag Brunch and Variety Show, where the stage is open to ALL performers! Whether you're a Drag Queen, King, Thing, burlesque or boylesque artist, comedian, poet, musician, mime, puppeteer, flow artist—or someone who just wants to look amazing in your best Clown look. It's your five-minutes … own the spotlight!

What to expect: A drag experience that will leave you exhausted and questioning your choices, featuring some of the area’s best alternative and horror clowns as well as some traditional jester types.

Along with the show, enjoy an open mic, open to all kinds of talent—celebrating inclusivity. creativity and community. And don’t miss our mini Trashion Show and costume contest, showcasing local reuse designers and artists. Got your own upcycled couture? Sign up to strut your look on the runway!

You could be one of those overachiever types and do both, we are not gonna stop you (Limited space with RSVP )

Participants of open mic or fashion show will receive free admission and 1 Butterfly Bar drink ticket. We’ll also feature local vendors selling some snake oil and local art.

Expect a lively, punk rock circus atmosphere celebrating beauty, chaos, and local performance art. We believe every creative deserves a stage—and this one’s yours.
