Comedy show: Amy Miller on Jan. 23rd and 24th at Laughs Comedy Club-Seattle

Amy Miller was one of Comedy Central’s “Up Next" comics, and has a Half Hour Special called Ham Mouth on Comedy Central. She is a paid regular at both the World Famous Comedy Store and The Comedy Cellar. Recently she was a guest on CBS's After Midnight and became the host of The Basement Tapes Podcast with The Osbourne Family. Yep, those Osbournes (the Ozzy ones.) As a brand new comic she was a breakout favorite in the final season of Last Comic Standing. She has a half hour comedy special on Epix's Unprotected Sets and she regularly opens for Tom Segura, Wanda Sykes, Nicole Byer and several more of her comedy idols! She was also a featured comic on Viceland's Flophouse. On Last Comic Standing, Keenen Ivory Wayans said she had one of the “fiercest jokes he had ever heard.” Originally from the East Bay, Amy found her comedy chops in Oakland and is still a regular at the SF Punch Line and Cobb’s Comedy Club, as well as a paid regular at The Hollywood Improv and the Laugh Factory. Her material is personal, political, and 100% authentic. The Laugh Button says “She found a wildly creative way to find empowerment while simultaneously sparking laughter” and Courting Comedy says “Miller juxtaposes an unassuming demeanor with unflinching assurance.” After a move to Portland, Amy quickly rose to the top of the Pacific Northwest comedy scene, winning Portland’s Funniest in Helium Comedy Club's annual contest, as well as being voted Portland’s Funniest Comedian two years in a row in the Willamette Week.

Amy’s debut album Solid Gold is available on Kill Rock Stars, and was named one of the top 10 comedy albums of 2016 by The Interrobang. Her sophomore album California King is available on Blonde Medicine Records. Amy is a nationally touring festival and comedy club headliner, and she has performed in the Moontower Comedy Festival, Bridgetown Comedy Fest, The Boston Comedy Festival, SxSW, the High Plains Comedy Fest, Laughing Skull, Big Sky, San Francisco Sketchfest, the Bumbershoot Festival and more. Basically she's done this a lot so you're probably gonna have a good time at the show.

Shain Brenden grew up in Millington, Tennessee. He is the second most famous person from his town after Justin Timberlake. One time in college he threw a half-eaten corn dog that got stuck in Eli Mannings helmet and that’s pretty cool.

He’s been featured on Don’t Tell Comedy and can be heard regularly on Netflix is a Joke Radio on Sirius XM anytime you get a rental car. While making the rounds in comedy festivals like High Plains, 10,000 Laughs, Laughing Skull, San Francisco Sketchfest and Limestone Comedy Fest, Shain was also crowned Portland’s Funniest Person in 2022 at Helium Comedy Club in Portland, Oregon.
