About This Event
Explore how collaboration drives better infrastructure, with insights from ICE President David Porter and regional project case studies.
Collaborative Conversations: Why Collaboration is Key
Those working in infrastructure must not only deliver technical excellence, but also collaborate and communicate the benefits it delivers to society. It is vital to bridge the gap between technical experts and non-technical audiences, building public trust, value and understanding. Collaboration across institutions and disciplines results in raising standards, knowledge sharing and innovation.
Delegates will hear from keynote speaker Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) President, David Porter, whose leadership at ICE is defined by a focus on collaboration, communication, and public trust Meet David Porter | Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE)
Delegates will also learn about a new strategic combined authority initiative to improve major infrastructure delivery, as well as hear case studies from projects in the region which, without collaboration, would simply not be possible.
Lunch is included along with a fantastic line up of speakers!
