Clowning Level Three: Performing the Show

You've found your clown, you've developed your act, now let's put on a show! In this seven week class, students will apply their previous experience and skills in clowning to putting on a cohesive and connected show for an audience! Students will learn how to refine their solo and group acts, how to connect with the audience for longer periods of time, and how to build a show that is more than just its individual acts. This class culminates in a run of shows and a graduation ceremony from our Clown program. The prerequisite for this class is Clown Level One and Level Two at Stomping Ground Comedy Theater.

This course will focus on:

• Creating repeatable original clown work
• Advanced ensemble work
• Sustaining presence and audience connection over extended periods
• Building and sustaining themes and motifs in a show

This is an in-person, seven week class on Mondays from 7-9:30pm starting on March 2nd. The instructor is Stephanie Bell. All sales are final. Listed price of class does not include Eventbrite's service fee (3.7% + $1.79) and payment processing fee (2.9%) which will be added to the total price at checkout. Classes are non-refundable but enrollment may be deferred to a future class with TCD approval. All students must adhere to policies in the Stomping Ground Student Handbook. Must be 18 years or older.
