Circling: Ahran’s Communication Playground

Welcome to Ahran’s Communication Playground, a space to slow down, tune in, and explore the living, breathing art of human connection. You’ll have the chance to play with active listening, authentic expression, and the subtle dynamics that shape how we relate to others moment to moment.

Each circle is a communication playground where we practice empathy, self-awareness, relational intelligence, conflict repair, full-body listening, vulnerability, clear expression, body awareness, and mindfulness. We also make room for fun and a little mischief along the way.

Through experiential exercises, you’ll notice relational patterns, expand your capacity to connect, and refine your communication skills. Whether you’re seeking deeper connection, wanting to improve how you navigate conflict, or simply curious about new relational approaches, this space offers a grounded, illuminating, and sometimes playful journey into what’s real.

All levels of experience are welcome.

Meet Ahran

Ahran is a 1.5-generation Korean American coach, facilitator, and multidisciplinary artist based in Oakland, California. Her work centers on cultivating interconnectedness and kinship, supporting people in reclaiming their inherent power, exploring identity beyond limiting frameworks, and engaging in one-on-one coaching, group facilitation, and creativity workshops. Drawing from her experiences as an artist, daughter of blue-collar immigrants, and community leader she weaves mind-body modalities and anti-oppressive practices into her work. As an ancestral pattern shifter, Ahran is committed to breaking cycles and creating space loudly and proudly.
