Cacao has been revered for centuries as sacred heart medicine, used in ceremony, prayer, and communal gathering to foster connection, clarity, and love. Rooted in Maryzelle’s Salvadoran heritage and lineage of pies descalzos, this ceremony is woven with ancestral reverence, inviting us to connect to the earth and the heart. This special rose-infused ceremonial cacao is prepared with rose petals, rose oil, orange peel, and damiana, inviting softness, devotion, and receptivity. Maryzelle’s approach is to receive cacao not simply as a drink, but as a heart frequency, a living medicine that gently supports the body, emotions, and spirit to open. Cacao often leaves participants feeling calm, grounded, emotionally connected, and heart-opened, supporting both inner reflection and relational attunement.

Connection | Sacred & Intentional

Connection in this ceremony is gentle, conversational, inward-journeying, and heart-led. This is not physical or performative. It is about being seen, listening deeply, and connecting from a place of authenticity. Through guided prompts and shared reflection, we explore connection both with others, feeling seen and held, and within ourselves inside a safe and sacred container. You will also be invited into inward connection, clarifying your deepest heart desire and what love means to you in this moment. This portion takes place after the cacao ceremony, allowing expression and sharing to arise naturally from the heart frequency activated by the medicine.

Soundbath | Visioning & Integration

The ceremony culminates in a deeply immersive soundbath and guided visioning meditation. You will be invited to lie down and rest in your own heart frequency, gently supported by the medicine of cacao as you enter a dreamlike, receptive state. Gongs, crystal singing bowls, chimes, drum, and voice wash through the body, supporting the nervous system in releasing, opening, and integrating. From this expanded heart space, you will be guided to dream with cacao, visioning and feeling into the love you are calling in within yourself, your relationships, and your life, allowing the frequency of love to fully anchor into the body.

About Your Guide:

Maryzelle Yolcolcatzin is a Salvadoran American sound healer, multi instrumentalist, and ceremonial guide based in the Bay Area. Guided by ancestral memory and the living intelligence of the Earth, her work is a weaving of rhythm, voice, drum, cacao, breath, love, and prayer, creating immersive spaces for remembrance, healing, and return.

Raised within music and shaped by ancestral lineages of Central America, Maryzelle carries sound as medicine. With a BA in Music and training in yoga and somatic practices, she bridges ancient ways with present moment listening. Her offerings are trauma informed, community centered, and rooted in reverence, honoring Indigenous wisdom while meeting the modern world with care.

Maryzelle is also a DJ and an active musician, playing in multiple bands throughout the Bay Area and bringing her love of rhythm and movement into every space she enters. She is the founder and owner of a wellness based practice offering cacao ceremonies, sound healing, curanderismo, breathwork, meditation, and other earth honoring modalities. Through both music and ceremony, her work invites people to slow down, listen deeply, and remember the songs, rhythms, and medicine carried in the body, the land, and the ancestors.
