Building Better Regions and Tech Hubs Convening at NeoCity, FL

Join us in Central Florida at NeoCity on April 22–24, 2026, for a convening for the Building Better Regions and Tech Hubs Communities of Practice. This national gathering will bring together economic developers, regional leaders, and partners advancing the EDA-funded BBBRC and TechHubs initiatives across the country.

NeoCity, Osceola County's 500-acre master planned technology campus, serves as the hub of the burgeoning semiconductor industry in Central Florida. Located 20 minutes from the Orlando International Airport, the site houses the Central Florida Build Back Better Coalition, the Florida Semiconductor NSF Innovations Engine, and a Cornerstone RESHAPE contract with the Department of Defense.

The convening will offer an in-depth look at how the Florida Semiconductor Coalition is building a globally competitive semiconductor cluster. Participants will learn about the coalition’s strategic investments, partnerships, and progress toward developing the region’s semiconductor industry.

Planned highlights include:

• Tours of the Center for NeoVation, a state-of-the-art semiconductor packaging and manufacturing facility operated by SkyWater Technology

• Visits to regional workforce development programs

• Conversations with industry partners, local officials, program leaders, and participants

• Panels and workshops on priority topics for BBR CoP members including sustainability, coalition maintenance, and workforce development

• Networking receptions, organized dinners, and peer-learning sessions across BBBRC and TechHubs communities
