About This Event

Bridging the Divide is Colorado's annual suicide prevention and awareness summit

Hope in Motion: Path to Prevent


This years summit will be April 15-16, 2026 in Golden, Colorado at the Denver Marriott West.

The summit will feature keynote speakers:

  • Scott LoMurray
  • Stacey Freedenthal, PhD, LCSW
  • Ayush Vispute
  • Wendy Martinez Farmer


We will also host panel discussions addressing the topics of Research and Innovation, Clinicians and Peer Supporters, and People with Lived Experience with Suicide (thoughts, attempts, loss), to be announced soon.


Join us for our first-ever add-ons featuring a preconference Mental Health First Aid class and/or a calming sound bath, designed to integrate learning and wellness into your conference experience.

Our event sponsors help make the Summit possible and all levels include a complimentary registration to the conference.


Scholarships are available to assist with costs to attend the conference. Fill out the application here and SPCC will follow up on application status and registration instructions. Deadline for scholarship requests is March 27, 2026.


Nominations are available for the 2026 SPCC Awards

Nominations can be made by an individual or organization or a self-nomination. SPCC is looking to recognize those in our state
who are making a difference in suicide prevention.

  • The SPCC Advocacy Award is a prestigious award that honors and recognizes those who work tirelessly with lawmakers to enact legislation that will help all Coloradoans reduce or
    prevent suicide and its impact in our state.
  • The SPCC Media Award is an esteemed award given to those in the media who are cognizant and careful when reporting about suicide, and its impact on communities in Colorado. Careful reporting can be a useful tool in preventing suicide, and in educating the public.

Award nominations for the SPCC Advocacy Award, and the SPCC Media Award are being accepted until March 16, 2026.
