From dan dan mian and jian bing to xiaolongbao and golden youtiao, discover dishes designed for speed, comfort, and pleasure. With stories, insights, and visuals via QR-linked recipes, this is a love letter to mornings, food, and shared tables.


About the Speaker:

Michael Zee is the creator of the viral Instagram account @symmetrybreakfast. Over the last ten years, he has nurtured over 600,000 followers and published cookbooks and travel guides that have become international bestsellers. His new book ZaoFan: Breakfast of China won the Fortnum & Mason Award for Best Cook Book in 2025.
