Betsy Sussler, founder and editor-in-chief of BOMB Magazine—an independent, nonprofit publication based in Fort Greene—launches her debut novel Station of the Birds! Part fever dream, part cautionary tale, Station of the Birds spins a narrative about fathers and sons, addiction’s hollow banging at the gate, and the ritual sacrifices rooted in agrarian cultures. Sussler reads from and discusses the book with Mexican poet, novelist and playwright Carmen Boullosa, before an audience Q&A and signing.
