Beyond the Mix Families Hair Braiding workshop

This event is for mixed heritage families only.

You are invited to our first hair braiding workshop for our Beyond the Mix Families community. We are collaborating with the brilliant Braid Socials!

Join us for an intimate, hands-on braiding workshop led by BRAID SOCIAL (formally IIVY WILD ACADEMY). Designed for parents who want to feel more confident styling their little one’s hair, this cosy session blends easy-to-learn techniques with meaningful connection, relaxed conversation, and a supportive community vibe.

What You’ll Learn:

✨ Basic plaits & cornrows

✨ Parting + sectioning

✨ Curly/coily hair care

✨ Product & tool recommendations

What’s Included:

• All tools + braiding products provided
• BRAID SOCIAL Instructor-led, step-by-step guidance
• Welcome drinks on arrival
• Light refreshments (nibbles)
• A warm, supportive environment hosted by Beyond the Mix Families

There is plenty of space both inside and outside. On street parking is available locally but please be sure to park respectfully if on residential streets. 

Tickets are tiered for this event and each attendee will need a ticket. This is an adults only event.
