For one night only, Minami—Yaletown’s destination for innovative Aburi cuisine—teams up with TS Global Beverage Solutions for an intimate, cocktail-forward journey through the soul of Japanese distilling. Hosted by Myles McCarthy, this evening is a high-energy exploration of balance, craftsmanship, and the quiet power of the cask.

The experience is built around the "liquid stars" of the show, with the kitchen building thoughtfully around each pour. Expect a relaxed but refined pace in an intentionally intimate room, where every detail—from the char of the sushi to the floral notes in your glass—is revealed as the night unfolds. We are pouring a heavy-hitting selection of Japan’s most sought-after craft spirits, including:

• Shin Premium Yuzu Wine: A vibrant, zesty fusion of fresh Katsuragi yuzu and premium sake—bright, tangy, and refreshing.

• Seara Vodka: Okinawa’s first craft vodka, double-distilled from rice and wheat for a remarkably smooth, creamy, and subtly sweet profile.

• Masahiro Kaijin: An adventurous blended whisky from Okinawa, offering a bold wave of tropical fruit, citrus, and a hint of coastal spice.

• Mizunara Liqueur: A rare, "Zen-like" aromatic gem featuring the elusive sandalwood and temple incense notes of 200-year-old Japanese oak.

• Shinobu Blended Bourbon Cask: A marriage of Japanese blending and American soul, finished in Mizunara oak for a profile of rich caramel, vanilla, and soft spice.
