The Ballet national du Québec invites you to its inaugural fundraising gala on April 11, a glamorous cocktail reception featuring performances from our repertoire, fine food, Quebec wine and spirits, and the magnificent voice of Marie-Josée Cyr, accompanied by Gilles Delorme throughout the evening, including the dance!

All under the honorary presidency of the sparkling Patsy Gallant!

It is with great pride that we unveil the Ballet national du Québec today.

Rooted in the rich cultural tradition of Québec and inspired by the timeless legacy of Eddy Toussaint, one of the pioneers of dance in Québec, the company aims to promote a narrative musical neoclassical ballet that is grounded, deeply human, and speaks to the hearts of its audience.

An accessible choreographic repertoire, popular in the noble sense of the word, yet technically demanding. Dance that tells stories, mainly from here, but also from elsewhere, that touches a wide audience, that brings people together rather than excludes them.

This deeply human approach reflects the reality of today's Québec: a society rich in diversity, multiple origins, and a desire for inclusion. A space where rigorous movement meets artistic freedom, where tradition nourishes new momentum, and where the stage becomes a place for sensitive sharing with the audience.
