When Jeff Mills’ ‘Metropolis Metropolis’ performance ends, As You Like It returns to Monarch for the first time in seven years with Detroit expats Jason Kendig (formerly of Honey Soundsystem) and Carlos Souffront (No Way Back). Playing start-to-finish, the two longtime collaborators take full control of the decks for an open-ended, deep-cut journey.

In the side room, AYLI Recordings celebrates the release of Ardi Joon’s much-anticipated Rhythm Don’t Stop EP, set to drop March 2 across all digital platforms and on March 6 through Bandcamp Friday.

Ardi Joon, a Detroit native, has deep roots in the city’s dance scene, having honed his skills on local dancefloors and attending the legendary Paxahau’s Movement Festival. The Rhythm Don’t Stop EP marks his debut Ardi Joon release, with four standout remixes from an eclectic mix of talent.

In the EP, Marco Passarani, an influential figure in Italy’s dance scene and one half of the duo Tiger & Woods, delivers a euphoric, chugging track that’s perfect for after-hours or top-tier European dancefloors. Ypsilanti’s Osborne, a regular on Ghostly Records, contributes a groovy, filtered disco remix that’s guaranteed to get you moving. Local legend Bored Lord, known for her work with No Bias and T4T LUV NRG, drops a peak-hour broken beat warehouse anthem. Finally, Vitamin1000’s Clearcast, fresh off their opening set for Fred Again, brings the rave with a high-energy remix that’s destined to be a future dancefloor favorite.

The side room lineup will feature an all-star cast of AYLI artists, including Ardi Joon, Adra, and Eichef, promising a night of non-stop, locally-driven celebration.
