Architecture of Wellbeing Yorkshire Sculpture Park Visit

The Architecture of Wellbeing is a day-long wellbeing event designed to give architects and students a pause from the desk and a chance to reset in inspiring surroundings. Organised by the Liverpool Architectural Society, the event will see attendees travel by coach to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park for a shared day of exploration, conversation and fresh air.

Rather than approaching mental health and wellbeing through formal talks or panel discussions, this event takes a different route. By stepping away from studios, screens and deadlines, participants are invited to experience wellbeing through movement, landscape, art and architecture. The Sculpture Park’s expansive grounds, striking artworks and thoughtfully designed buildings provide a relaxed setting that naturally encourages reflection and discussion.

Spending time outdoors after a busy week of work or study offers space to slow down, reconnect and talk openly — whether about practice, pressures, health, or simply the work we love. The Architecture of Wellbeing is about creating time and place for those conversations to happen organically, supported by the unique atmosphere of the park.

This event is an opportunity to recharge, connect with peers, and explore how environment, architecture and landscape can positively influence our wellbeing — all without an agenda, a stage, or a PowerPoint in sight.
