Arabian Nights Performance Lab with Basel Al-Naffouri

Class Time/Dates: 7:00pm-10:00pm on Tuesdays // February 17, 24, March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 April 7

Schedule: 8 sessions; once a week for eight weeks

Class size: 12 students maximum

Prerequisite: Foundation 6 or equivalent experience.

For generations, the Arabian Nights has enchanted readers with its tapestry of mystical magic, unpredictable mayhem, valiant heroes, and the enduring power of love. Drawing inspiration from this timeless saga, "The Improvised Arabian Nights" has been creating sensational, spontaneous stories that have captivated audiences for over 15 years.

This specific format is a favorite among improvisers because it demands the very skills that make the craft magical: seamless ensemble work, strong narrative, grounded acting, and a deep dedication to genre. In this workshop, you will push the boundaries of your creativity and explore one of the most rich and diverse genres on the BATS stage.

We have community standards, a conflict process, and a COVID prevention policy in place. Agreement/acceptance of these policies is required to participate in BATS classes. BATS Improv Class Refund Policy

All class sales are final. In the event we cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, we’ll refund your tuition in full.
