The 2026 Annual Tour is a 9-day gourmet ride through the Adelaide Hills, Barossa, Clare and McLaren Vale, covering 600km of flavour.

The 2026 Annual Tour is a gourmet food and wine adventure exploring some of SA’s iconic wine regions including the Adelaide Hills, Barossa Valley, Clare Valley and McLaren Vale. This itinerary has been one of our most popular, sold-out experiences over the years. Annual Tour is a magnificent 9-day cycle tour covering approximately 600km, exploring the delights of South Australia’s gourmet food and wine regions.
ITINERARY
Day 1 Saturday 19 September
Adelaide to Tanunda via Chain of Ponds, Kersbrook, Williamstown and Lyndoch 78km
Day 2 Sunday 20 September
Tanunda to Riverton via Hamley Bridge 79km
Day 3 Monday 21 September
Riverton to Clare via Mintaro & Farrell Flat 85km
Day 4 Tuesday 22 September
Rest day @ Clare
Day 5 Wednesday 23 September
Clare to Nuriootpa via Kapunda 94km
Day 6 Thursday 24 September
Nuriootpa to Nuriootpa – Barossa Loop ride +/- 60km
Day 7 Friday 25 September
Nuriootpa to Hahndorf 87km
Day 8 Saturday 26 September
Hahndorf to McLaren Vale via Macclesfield 64km
Day 9 Sunday 27 September
McLaren Vale to Adelaide via Glenelg 60km
HIGHLIGHTS
Enjoy the rolling landscapes of SA’s greater Mount Lofty Ranges on the doorstep of Adelaide, exploring gourmet food and wine along the way.
Overnight stop in the stunning grounds of Chateau Tanunda winery
Ride the famous Riesling and Rattler Trails between Riverton and Clare.
Visit historic towns in the stunning Clare Valley such as Auburn and Mintaro and sample Australia’s best white wines.
Explore the Barossa Valley, famous for its robust reds and iconic wine producers including Wolf Blass, Penfolds, Henschke, Peter Lehman, Jacobs Creek and many more.
Enjoy beers and bratwurst in the historic German town of Hahndorf in the Adelaide Hills.
Experience the scenic landscapes of the Upper Fleurieu and McLaren Vale regions as you ride the quiet back roads through the southern vales vineyards. Visit one of the many local cellar doors and tourist attractions including the iconic d'Arenberg Cube.
