The Junior League of Washington invites you to an intimate and exclusive afternoon celebrating the forthcoming book Was It Something I Said? Everyday Etiquette for Life, Work, and Love—before it is released to the public.

Join author Alison Cheperdak for a thoughtful, engaging conversation with her dear friend and fellow attorney, Arianne Minks, exploring modern etiquette, confidence, boundaries, and the social moments that shape our personal and professional lives.

This special pre-publication event will take place just two days before the book’s official release on March 17, offering Junior League members and guests early access to the ideas, stories, and practical guidance at the heart of the book.

Each guest will receive a signed copy and have the opportunity to meet Alison in person. Designed to be conversational, reflective, and welcoming, this event celebrates etiquette as a leadership skill and a tool for connection.

This event will also serve as a fundraiser in support of the Junior League.
