What You’ll Learn:
Discover how agile frameworks can be applied to creative work – even when it’s “just a hobby”. Maria explores practical techniques such as time-boxing creative sessions, maintaining a personal backlog of ideas, and running retrospectives on finished pieces. Learn how shifting from perfection to iteration and building regular feedback loops can help overcome creative block and turn sporadic inspiration into consistent output.

2)Andy Burgin

Presentation Title: DevOps 2014 Revisited – A Dozen Years of Noise and Confusion

What You’ll Learn:
In 2014, DevOps was a movement. Twelve years on, what did it become? Drawing on a recovered “time capsule” slide deck from his original Agile Yorkshire talk, Andy reflects on how DevOps evolved into Cloud, SRE, Platform Engineering, Team Topologies, Developer Experience, and even “VibeOps”. This talk explores what changed, what stuck, what went wrong, and—most importantly—what the future of DevOps can learn from its past.

Bio:
Andy Burgin is a Principal Platform Engineer at Flutter UK & Ireland and describes himself as a Kubernetes, AI, and DevRel fettler. He’s part of the organising team for DevOpsDays London and previously ran the DevOps meetup in Leeds for almost a decade, hosting over 50 events. A frequent conference speaker, Andy proudly considers himself an “all-round DevOps nuisance”.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Warm regards,

The Agile Yorkshire Team
