About This Event

Best Workshop Winner at 2025 Adelaide Fringe

In this hands-on workshop, you'll explore the alchemy of silver clay and silicone putty to create your own mould from a special object of your choice (leaves, shells, stone, sentimental objects, etc.). Using your mould, you’ll cast your object into silver clay and turn it into a unique piece of wearable art—either a pendant or a pair of earrings.

You'll get to experience the full transformation process on-site, including firing and polishing, watching your soft clay piece become solid fine silver magic! After the session, your finished jewellery will be ready to take home within approximately 2 hours, subject to firing schedule.

What you'll get

  • A handmade 99.9% fine silver pendant or a pair of earrings!
  • 5 grams of silver clay
  • 15 grams of silicone putty for mold-making

What to bring

  • A small object (under 5cm in all dimensions) from nature, home, or something sentimental. (Note: Not all objects are suitable for direct casting, but we can work with partial imprints or adapt the form creatively.)
  • All tools and materials are provided.
  • Extra silver clay is available for purchase if you'd like to create larger pieces.
  • Optional add-ons: silver findings or necklace chains to attach to your piece.

Private group bookings (minimum 6 people) are welcome!
