About This Event

Organised by Professor Christos Panagopoulos, Professor Neil Mathur and Professor Ramamoorthy Ramesh ForMemRS

There is currently great interest in the fundamental physics of topologically complex and elegant patterns that can arise or be created in magnetic, ferroelectric, and liquid crystal materials. The meeting will explore similarities and differences between the complex order in these classes of material. We will also focus on how the complex patterns may be exploited to encode and transmit information.
