Symposium Overview: Comprehensive Burn Care Management

This symposium is designed to educate healthcare professionals—including physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, and paramedics—on the comprehensive assessment and management of severely burned patients. The program will cover the full continuum of burn care, from initial injury and emergency response to wound management and reconstructive surgery.

• Provide an overview of burn injury types and severity classification.
• Discuss evidence-based approaches to initial stabilization and fluid resuscitation.
• Review current practices in burn wound care, infection control, and pain management.
