About This Event
Join us for a historical inaugural Hep B Free California Summitโbringing together experienced professionals, patients, and more for hep B!
Join us on May 12, 8 to 4:30 at UCSF's Mission Bay Campus for a historic first โ the inaugural Hep B Free California Summit, bringing together clinicians, researchers, advocates, patients, and the community to accelerate progress toward hepatitis B elimination.
This yearโs theme, โHep B Elimination Through Community, Public Health, Innovation, and Healthcare Partnerships,โ reflects what this moment demands: collaboration across sectors to protect prevention, strengthen care, and move closer to a cure.
Why attend:
- Timely clinical, research, and policy updates
- Community-led innovations and patient perspectives
- Meaningful networking across healthcare, public health, and advocacy
- Poster presentations with a chance to be featured on the main agenda (submit an abstract now!)
- CME credits available (physician, pharmacist, nursing, PA, social work, dietitians)
We are expecting at least 100 attendees, which primarily include healthcare providers, public health professionals, community organizations, students, policymakers, and patient advocates but anyone is welcome!
Registration is designed to be accessible:
- Professional registration starts at $50 (Representatives from industry as well as those receiving CME credit - physicians, pharmacists,social workers, dieticians)
- Nonprofit and public health workers: $25
- Community advocates, patients, and students attend free
- Group pricing available for support staff
- Registration fee includes breakfast and lunch
Our goal is simple: everyone who wants to attend should be able to attend.
