Join us for another exciting event, the 2026 Harbor City Maryland Chapter Showcase! Get ready for an unforgettable experience filled with incredible talent and vibrant performances. Happening on Sunday, March 22, 2026, starting at 2:30 PM, this in-person gathering promises to be amazing. Seniors will be competing for a scholarship named in honor of Dr. David C. Driskell who was an honorary member of The Society Incorporated, Supporting the Arts, and a resident of Prince George's County. David C. Driskell was an American artist, scholar and curator; recognized for his work in establishing African-American Art.

This year's Showcase will be hosted by a representative of the David C. Driskell family, Dr. Tuliza Fleming. She is currently the Curator of American Art at the National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC), Smithsonian Institution.

You will be captivated and mesmorized by our special guest artist, Cherie Mitchell-Agurs. She is a Full-time Musician and the Musical Director for Be'la Dona, an all-female band. She plays keyboards, sang with Chuck Brown, The Godfather of GoGo, is a radio personality for GoGo Radio.com and serves as an Educator and Guest Speaker to incorporate the history of GoGo music in DC Public Schools.

The Harmony Hall Regional Center sets the perfect stage for our showcase. Prepare to be amazed by the diverse range of talents on display, including music, dance, theater, and more. Whether you're a fan of soulful melodies, jaw-dropping choreography, or captivating acting, this event has something for everyone.
