Come celebrate the Cuban American Bar Association's marquee event, its annual gala. Fuiste Tu or 52, is a party meant to fete what has made CABA great: you. This gala will honor the founders, members, and supporters whose contributions since 1974 have shaped CABA into a pillar of civic excellence. The gala will feature museum-style displays of CABA's history, along with a time capsule where each of us can contribute a message to the CABA of the future. The gala will be shorter on speeches and longer on the festivities, with a focus on individual impact, collective achievement, and cultural pride.

In exchange, CABA asks for your generosity in ensuring that we can advance our collective mission. The gala hosts over a thousand attorneys, judges, business leaders, and dignitaries. One hundred percent of the gala's net proceeds benefit our sister 501(c)(3) organizations: CABA Pro Bono Legal Services, which provides no-cost legal services to the indigent community in Florida; and the Cuban American Bar Foundation's scholarship fund, which awards financial assistance to deserving law students across the country. Also, we need to pay for Grammy Award-winning artist, Willy Chirino.

A limited number of individual tickets will be available for CABA members who currently serve in our judiciary or who serve our community as either a government attorney or as an attorney for a pro bono organization.

If you cannot make the dinner, do not let that stop you from attending the gala and enjoyingWillyChirino's performance. Cuban Time tickets are available to those who want to arrive a bit later and join the gala in progress at 9:00 p.m. and stay until the lights go out at 2:00 a.m. The gala ballroom will open following the dinner program, allowing you to enjoy the same after-dinner gala dynamic and high­energy events, plus an open bar and hors d'oeuvres.

About CABA Gala

The gala is CABA's marquee event, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars each year and hosting over a thousand attorneys, judges, business leaders, and dignitaries. One hundred percent of the gala's net proceeds benefit the CABA Pro Bono Legal Services, which provides no cost legal services to the indigent community in Florida, and the Cuban American Bar Foundation's Scholarship Fund, which awards financial assistance to deserving law students across the country. CABA Pro Bono Legal Services and Cuban American Bar Foundation are separate 50l(c)(3) corporations formed by members of the Cuban American Bar Association.
