ÉCU - The European Independent Film Festival 2026

If you enjoy quality cinema, a nice ambiance and drinking a glass of wine with actors and directors from the independent cinema industry, ÉCU is the event made for you.

Since 2006 ÉCU has been Europe's premier arena for independent filmmakers to screen their films to international audiences, to network with industry professionals and exchange ideas with other indie filmmakers. All taking place in an environment that fosters creativity and immense amounts of fun.

Our 21st edition will proudly screen around 50 films from more than 20 different countries on the 24th, 25th, and 26th of April 2025 in Paris, France at the cinema Les 7 Parnassiens, in Paris.

A three day event in which you can enjoy live music, and films all day long. Don't forget to participate in the workshops, learning from la créme de la créme of the industry and get to ask all the things your heart desires at the Q&As with the Official Selection Directors at the end of each session.

And at the end of the day, be invited to the VIP after parties, the perfect opportunity to broaden your network, meet VIP guest like actors and independent filmmakers.
